Dubai Restaurant Women’s and Men’s Restroom Design
Luxury Restaurant Interior Design
A restaurant experience is not created in the dining room alone. From the entrance to the table, from lighting to service areas and restrooms, every touchpoint carries the brand’s character. Developed by Studio MEK for a restaurant in Dubai, the women’s and men’s restroom designs transform a functional volume into two distinctive atmospheres with a lasting architectural identity.
Women’s Restroom Design
A theatrical identity shaped by burgundy, brass and light
The women’s restroom balances the dramatic depth of dark burgundy glazed surfaces with pale veined stone and warm brass details. Glossy ceramics amplify the light, making the compact interior feel layered and immersive. Above, a textured metal ceiling fragments the red accents into a shifting rhythm of reflections.
Slim brass-framed mirrors and vertical stone panels unite three individual washbasin points in a strong composition. Fluted cylindrical basins are treated as sculptural objects, while wall-mounted fittings keep the counters visually calm. A leopard illustration on a vivid red ground becomes an unforgettable focal point that extends the restaurant’s energetic and sophisticated identity.

Men’s Restroom Design
The calm of natural stone and the power of graphic art
The men’s restroom responds to the intensity of the women’s space with a calmer yet equally distinctive atmosphere. Natural stone with pronounced grey and brown veining is paired with dark timber-toned frames and black marble shelves. Rounded corners, continuous skirting lines and uninterrupted vertical surfaces create a refined, effortless flow.
Black-and-white abstract artworks add a bold graphic layer to the neutral palette. Clear glass sconces and brass details define the basins with warm light, while the textured reflective ceiling visually expands the room. Bespoke fluted stone basins combine ergonomic use with sculptural form, carrying the restaurant’s premium guest experience beyond the dining areas.
